Multitasking Machine with Twin Spindles, Twin Turrets and More



FUJI Machine America Corporation offers its latest breakthrough: the ACUFLEX multitasking machine series ACUFLEX 400D and 400S.

The ACUFLEX 400D comes equipped with twin spindles, upper and lower turrets with 12/24 positions, live tooling, Y-axis in both turrets and many flexible Fuji automation options, while the ACUFLEX 400S comes equipped with twin spindles and a single position turret with 12/24 positions, live tooling, Y-axis and many flexible FUJI automation options.

The ACUFLEX multitasking machine is engineered to streamline production processes, enabling users to perform multiple operations seamlessly on a single platform. "With its single or dual-turret design featuring upper and lower 12/24 position turrets with live tooling and Y-axis, this machine empowers manufacturers to tackle complex machining tasks with unparalleled flexibility, speed and accuracy," said a company spokesperson.

Key features of the ACUFLEX multitasking machine include:

  • Single or dual-turret design: The integration of upper and lower turrets allows for simultaneous machining operations, reducing cycle times and maximizing productivity.
  • Versatility: From turning and milling to drilling and tapping with available BMT 45, 55 or 65 tool holders, the ACUFLEX multitasking machine is suited for a wide range of machining applications, offering added flexibility to adapt to diverse manufacturing needs.
  • Precision engineering: Engineered with precision in mind, this state-of-the-art machine offers enhanced accuracy and surface finish to produce high quality finished parts.
  • Intuitive controls: Equipped with user-friendly FANUC controls and advanced automation capabilities, the ACUFLEX multitasking machine simplifies operation and minimizes set-up times, enabling operators to achieve greater results with minimal effort.
  • Robust construction: Built to withstand the rigors of modern manufacturing environments, the ACUFLEX multitasking machine features rugged construction and premium components for long-term reliability and performance.
  • Automation options: Flexible Fuji automation options available include a bar-feeder interface with parts catcher, parts robot unloader and conveyor, FUJI 4-axis gantry robot loader, in and out parts stockers or conveyors, measurement auto gauges, quality inspection chutes, turnover stations and many more.
