Nidec Machine Tool America LLC offers its G series line of gear hobbing machines. The machines feature five controlled axes as standard to accommodate a wide variety of gears.
The G series machines feature rigid, high-accuracy mechanical structures including table, sliding surface and feed spindle. They are engineered to provide improved positioning accuracy. Coolant is circulated within the bed to maintain uniform thermal distribution, minimizing thermal displacement.
The use of a long hob and a combination hob enable extended machining time, continuous roughing/finishing and multi-item, multi-stage gear cutting. Changeover time has been reduced to achieve high-efficiency machining.
In addition to the fully conversational programming software, a large LCD is used to change the display layout. The user has instant visual access to various information data on the LCD, and the help function has also been modified for ease of operation.
