EXACT Machine Service, Inc. has announced that its machine tool sales division, York Penn Machinery, which has roots going back to 1946, has a new name and website behind its renewed commitment to be the best machine tool sales company, according to a spokesperson.
"We have a long history. My father, Thomas F. Cassidy, started working at York Penn Machinery in the early 1970s and purchased the company in 1991," said EXACT President Tom Cassidy, who began working for York Penn Machinery after college. "I started EXACT Machine Service in 2005 after York Penn closed and my father passed away, and we continued to use the York Penn name for many years because of its name recognition and following."
The machine tool sales division will now be called EXACT Machine Tool Sales. The website is www.exactmachinetoolsales.com.
EXACT recently moved into a 14,000 sq. ft. building that features a showroom, offices and warehouses. Machines on display in the showroom include an OB7 7-axis robot, Kingston HJ1100 engine lathe, Johnford SL-500A CNC turning center, Johnford SV-40 CNC machining center and Cosen MH-270M horizontal band saw. Machine demonstrations are available by appointment.
