New 2020 Machine Models Announced

Tsugami/Rem Sales, the exclusive North American importer of Precision Tsugami machine tools, has announced the release of four enhanced machine models for the North American manufacturing market. Tsugami/Rem Sales offers a broad range of in stock, highly rigid and accurate machine platforms. Various models include CNC Swiss machines, multi-function turn/mills, lathes and VMCs.
New models include:
- Tsugami S205/S206-II: 20 mm capacity; 47 tool positions; modular tool zone uses cartridge-type live tools, up to 20 tools-8,000 RPM and four tools are 10,000 RPM; eight backworking live tools; Y-axis tool post; direct drive rotary guide bushing; three toggle clamping system; deep hole drilling post enables up to 140 mm drilling; thermal displacement compensation
- Tsugami B0325V-II: 32 mm capacity; vertical tool post; total of 25 tool positions; modular tool zone uses cartridge-type live tools, up to 11 tools-6,000 RPM; four backworking tools; direct drive rotary guide bushing; three toggle clamping system; thermal displacement compensation; deep hole drilling post enables up to 140 mm drilling
- Tsugami TMA8F: 65 mm capacity; full 5-axis machining capability; 4 GB data server; high speed automatic tool changer (tool-to-tool speed of 0.8 second, 60 CAPTO C4 tools standard); works equally well with bar fed or chucked material; 15 HP built-in motor capable of milling center performance; high rigidity cross slide structure delivers high accuracy in complex machining; positioning repeatability is ±0.1 µm; HP coolant through the tool spindle; full C-axis sub spindle; touch probe; glass scales on XYZ
- Tsugami VA3: 20,000 RPM spindle; 20+1 position high speed automatic tool changer; 48 m/min X, Y and Z axes rapid traverse rate; 4th axis control; 4 GB data server; tool breakage detection; touch probe; HP coolant through spindle.
Tsugami/Rem Sales also plans two additional machine releases in 2020.
