Chuck Miller Joins Kitagawa North-Tech

Chuck Miller

Kitagawa North-Tech, Inc. has launched a new Prismatic Workholding Business Unit within the company that will supply custom prismatic workholding to its North American customers. Chuck Miller has been appointed Senior Manager, R&D and Stationary Workholding to manage and grow sales for the new group. Miller comes to Kitagawa with over 30 years of extensive stationary/prismatic workholding experience.

Miller previously served as president and owner of Global Workholding, a company that focused on designing, engineering and manufacturing custom prismatic workholding for metalworking machine shops and end users.

As the leader of Kitagawa North-Tech's new Prismatic Workholding business unit, Miller will be responsible for a wide range of business functions. His new role will encompass business development, sales, engineering, product development, design, R&D, training and supporting the company's regional sales managers. He will also guide and support the Productivity Team (P Team) on stationary workholding projects. KNI's P Team is responsible for reviewing customers' part drawings, machining processes and available machine tools to develop a comprehensive sales proposal and concept drawing for custom workholding.

Shawn Luschei, VP of Sales and Marketing, said, "Kitagawa North-Tech has always offered prismatic workholding to customers as part of our turn-key solutions set. However, Chuck adds a comprehensive capability, skill set and focus to our prismatic workholding group. His vast expertise and knowledge of prismatic workholding will help us grow sales in this area and support our promise to customers to be their single source, turn-key supplier for both turning and prismatic workholding."

Miller will be based out of Kitagawa North-Tech's North American headquarters for sales, design, manufacturing, technical support and repair services in Schaumburg, IL.
