Wash Down System
August 1, 2020
MP Systems' universal wash down system is designed for clearing chips from machine tool walls, way covers, work holders and parts. The low maintenance system comes with its own pump, hoses, contactor, DIN rail and power and control cables. It operates on 208/230 volts, is adaptable to most machines and is designed for ease of use. The wash down pump uses an internal signal circuit of 24 VDC for safe operation.
Users can quickly adjust the coolant spray force from a light, broad mist to a narrow, powerful stream. It produces up to 26 PSI and 12.5 GPM. The wash down system is equipped with a remote push button start and stop timer switch and a magnetic base that can attach to any metal surface of the machine for easy access and installation.
To use the wash down system, simply press the green button on the control box and the pump will begin to build pressure. Point the nozzle into the machine tool cabinet and pull the handle. When finished, press the red button on the control box to shut off the pump. The timer automatically shuts off the pump after 10 minutes to maximize pump life, and can be adjusted to suit the operator's needs.
"All of these benefits come in a compact, leak free, long lasting design. The wash down system comes with everything needed to install on most machines along with a detailed installation manual," said a company spokesperson. Shipping dimensions are 21" x 10" x 12" and weight is under 75 lbs.
