Lightweight Aluminum Straight Edge

Suburban Tool, Inc., a manufacturer of high precision tools for toolmakers, has announced the addition of a lightweight Aluminum Straight Edge "Master-Edge" to complement its existing line of Cast Iron Straight Edges.
"The new Master-Edge Aluminum Straight Edges offers the same high precision and quality as Suburban's Cast Iron Straight Edge at approximately 50% of the weight, making it suitable for applications where the weight of a cast iron product might be prohibited," said a company spokesperson.
"These new Aluminum Straight Edges are made from 6063 extruded aluminum in a modified I-beam profile for enhanced rigidity and ease of handling, and are precision ground to Suburban's exacting standards," added the spokesperson.
Available sizes: 1-7/8 x 3-7/8 x 18, 24, 36"

- Weight: 5 lbs./ft.
