Stainless Steel Equipment Fabrication
December 1, 2019
Badger Sheet Metal Works' custom-designed plant features a state-of-the-art clean environment dedicated to producing stainless steel equipment fabrication projects for a wide range of industries. Its stainless steel room is a clean environment that meets the stringent 3-A Sanitary Standards required by the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries.
"We follow standards with our stainless steel equipment fabrication processes that promote food safety and ensure public health," said Kenny Coe, Director of Sales at Badger Sheet Metal Works. "The low FA value of our stainless steel products results in less degradation and longer lifespans than average."
Badger Sheet Metal Works has invested in a variety of high-level equipment geared toward precision sheet metal fabrication and has maximized its fabrication capabilities. The company's welders hold AWS qualification for stainless steel (D1.6). The machining center in Badger's stainless room complements the options available on the main production floor, including Amada and Cincinnati lasers that are used for producing components that require tight tolerances. Badger technicians have a Lynx surface finishing machine available to enhance the quality of a surface or prepare it for fabrication. The machine applies Scotch-Brite #4 mill finish and deburrs the metal for high quality.
Stainless steel fabrication projects typically include bottling equipment, tanks, conveyors, sanitary and bulk process hoppers, dispensers, packaging components and process piping.
