HMI Cover Kits for Wall Mounted Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing has offered many different sizes of screwed, key or tool lockable hinged HMI cover kits, which protect and isolate indicators, dials, knobs, switches and other components that are often mounted on the original doors of wall mounted enclosures.
The latest addition to the Hammond range is the PJHMI UV-stabilized polycarbonate hinged cover kit, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Available in opaque or clear material, it is available with screw, tamperproof screw or snap latch with padlock latching. It is a recognized UL component and is CSA listed for use with enclosures rated NEMA Types 4, 4X (IP66) or less; sealing is achieved through a continuous joint-less gasket. It can be retrofitted to any suitable enclosure in any material with wall thicknesses from 16 gauge (0.065") to 1/4".
The PJHMI complements the 1481WDH deep-hinged windows kits, available in painted steel or 316L stainless steel frames with a quarter inch thick UV stable clear polycarbonate viewing window. Secured with a tool operated quarter turn fastener, the 1481WDH is rated as NEMA Type 4, 4X (IP66), achieved with an oil resistant neoprene gasket. The 1481WDH provides an extra 2.5" of sealed usable depth for components.
