4 Plus 1 VMC Introduced

Campro USA, the U.S. office of Campro Precision Machinery, a Taiwanese builder of high precision CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, bridge mills and turning centers, has introduced the CPV-1050B 4 Plus 1 vertical machining center (VMC).

The machine features a 16" diameter trunnion table that allows part sizes of up to 24" diameter by 12" tall.

According to a company spokesperson, "The CPV-1050B 4 Plus 1 allows the average machine shop to join high-tech companies in making more complex parts and machining five faces of a part in a single set-up, which saves handling time and fixturing costs and increases the accuracies of machined features on different part faces."

With machine travels of 41.3" x 20.8" x 30.7", box ways, rapid traverse rates of 1,181 IPM and a 12,000 RPM 40 taper BIG PLUS spindle, the CPV-1050B 4 Plus 1 can also produce 3-axis parts by removing the trunnion table.

"Campro's proven quality, reliability and accuracy combined with an aggressive pricing structure makes the CPV-1050B 4 Plus 1 an excellent machine for companies of all sizes and capabilities," said the spokesperson.
