Wintriss Controls Group Offers Virtual Die Protection Clinic

Wintriss Controls Group, a manufacturer of automation, safety and die protection products for the metal stamping and forming industry, is now offering a virtual webinar version of its Die Protection Clinic. For over 25 years, the Wintriss Die Protection Clinic has been a source for die protection and in-die sensing information and training.

Designed for flexibility, the online curriculum has been organized into three two-hour sessions that can be presented to accommodate attendees' schedules. "In-person clinics are not always feasible during the pandemic, so we are excited to offer our Die Protection Clinic as an online webinar," said Jim Finnerty, Product Manager, Wintriss Controls Group. The webinar can be customized for attendees' requirements, and will be available for viewing 30 days after the initial presentation.

The Virtual Clinic is designed for a broad range of metalforming professionals such as tool designers, makers and engineers, manufacturing engineers, sensor specialists, engineering management, production managers, set-up personnel, maintenance technicians, electricians and press operators. Every aspect of die protection and sensor selection for progressive, transfer and compound dies is covered in the clinic. For novices, the clinic provides practical, application-oriented information in order to start protecting dies right away. And for experienced die protection users, the clinic is constantly updated with new educational content on how to apply the latest sensor and control system technology.

A bound/printed or PDF version of the Wintriss Die Protection Handbook is provided for each attendee. The handbook is a reference for die protection, sensor selection and installation, die wiring and technical information about electronics and in-die sensing.
