Jorgensen Conveyor & Filtration Solutions Celebrates 70 Years

Jorgensen Conveyor & Filtration Solutions, Inc. celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2020 with several enhancements aimed at further improving the company's ability to support customers around the world with material handling, coolant filtration and conveyor solutions. "An expanded management team, the integration of new state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and a new approach to the company's brand image have served to give customers even greater access to the advanced solutions required to keep up with the pace of modern manufacturing," said a company spokesperson.

Founded in 1950 by Charles T. Jorgensen, the company is currently led by President and CEO Chuck D'Amico, the founder's grandson. In 2020, it further solidified its management structure to support the company's increasing size and scope. D'Amico was joined by a new Director of Sales and Marketing, Karl Kleppek, and by Dustin Krueger who was promoted to the position of Manager of Engineering. "With a combined 71 years of experience in manufacturing industry leadership, Jorgensen's management is fully committed to leveraging the company's long history of innovation to provide its customers the solutions they need to lead their industries," said the spokesperson.

The company also added new improvements to its production capabilities. A million-dollar investment in the company's Mequon, WI, based production facility included a 3 kW fiber laser cutting machine and a 250-ton press brake.

"We aimed to greatly increase our capacity for growth and support for our ongoing commitment to quality and competitive pricing for our customers," said D'Amico. "Now is the best time ever for both existing and new customers to talk to Jorgensen about their chip conveyor, coolant filtration, metalworking chip processing, and parts and scrap-handling requirements and to find out how we can help them meet and surpass those requirements with a wider array of manufacturing solutions than ever before."

In recognition of the company's expanded range of products, Jorgensen also expanded and refined its brand image. "Now identified as Jorgensen Conveyor & Filtration Solutions, the new branding honors the company's past going back to its early patent of side chains resulting in the significant advancement of the hinged steel-belt conveyor, at the same time that it incorporates the new filtration equipment and chip solutions we have added to our product portfolio," said Kleppek. "We dedicated ourselves to providing our customers with the chip solutions, including the EcoFilter and MunchMan II conveyors, required for tough applications, and our new brand demonstrates our renewed commitment to offering comprehensive conveyor and filtration solutions, here in Wisconsin and across the globe."
