Tooling Tech Group New Corporate Headquarters

Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a provider of custom tooling, is opening its corporate headquarters in Macomb, MI, in a 70,000 sq. ft. facility that will also house manufacturing operations. "The company is investing $19.9 million in Macomb between this facility and its Majestic stamping die facility, which houses a new 2,750-ton progressive/transfer press," said a company spokesperson. Tooling Tech Group expects to generate at least 35 jobs locally and a total of 100 new jobs over the next five years at its seven Michigan locations.

"The opening of Tooling Tech Group's new world headquarters will better enable the execution of the company's strategic growth plans and allow TTG to be closer to some of its key automotive customers," added the spokesperson. The company provides tooling, molds, check-fixtures, gauges and automated solutions for manufacturing a variety of automotive components.

Tooling Tech Group employs approximately 600 people with half of those across its Michigan facilities. The company has a total of 12 locations across four states, including Fort Loramie, OH; Washington, MO; Statesboro, GA; as well as Temperance, Fenton and Grand Rapids, MI.

Additional growth since 2018:

  • The addition of large CNC equipment with over 30' of travel at its compression mold facility in Fenton, MI
  • The addition of a third location to its Grand Rapids engineering facilities
  • A 15,000 sq. ft. addition at TTG Automation, a manufacturer of secondary equipment located in Temperance, MI
  • A 10,000 sq. ft. addition to its Statesboro, GA, die cast tooling facility
  • The addition of large 5-axis CNC equipment at both its soft trim and die cast facilities in Fort Loramie, OH, and Washington, MO.
