Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. has promoted Shawn Buboltz to Director of Technical Services and hired Fernando R. Garcia as Western Regional Sales Manager.
Buboltz will oversee both Matsuura USA's Service and Applications departments.

In his nearly six years with Matsuura USA, Buboltz had most recently served as Matsuura's national service manager, where he managed the overall direction and coordination of Matsuura Machinery USA's Service department. Prior to that role, he served as a Matsuura USA service engineer.
"With more than 18 years of experience, Shawn's comprehensive understanding of the industry is critical and provides him with an exceptional awareness and intelligence. Shawn will play a key role in our management team," St. John explained.
"Shawn's leadership and strategic abilities will further improve our capabilities, broaden our services and advance new partnerships, delivering even greater benefit to Matsuura customers," St. John concluded.
Buboltz served for four years with the United States Coast Guard earning a degree in machinery technology.
"Fernando has an extensive 30+ year career where he has concentrated on manufacturing and industrial distribution of machine tools and robotic manufacturing systems. Garcia holds years of leadership in manufacturing including president of Ellison Technologies' Northern California Operations, general manager of Methods Machine Tools and as an AMTDA/AMT board of director.
