Air Caster Transport System

Aerofilm Systems designs, develops and manufactures air casters and air caster transport systems. "This form of transportation is a suitable solution for moving light to very heavy objects in a safe, ergonomic and cost-effective way. It is also suitable for sensitive and therefore often expensive objects because air casters create no vibration during movement. The technique behind it can be compared with hovercrafts," said a company spokesperson.

Advantages of air caster transport:

  • No floor damage
  • No point load to the floor
  • No lubricants applied
  • Low maintenance
  • Fast and accurate positioning
  • Objects picked up from underneath
  • Virtually friction-free movement, omnidirectional.

The air caster systems are designed in-house and are either completely produced in its 16,000 sq. ft. production factory in the Netherlands or assembled in its American facility.

Aerofilm Systems produces both the Neoprene and Polyurethane air casters.
