Morris Great Lakes, a division of Morris Group, Inc., will hold an Open House and Technology Show at its new Cranberry Township, PA, facility at 9151 Marshall Road May 7-8, 2014. Hours are 9 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday, May 7. Hours will be extended to 7 PM on Thursday, May 8, to include a pig roast, barbecue, and beer tasting by North Country Brewing.
The regional machine tool distributor will display and demo new technology from Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge, Bridgeport, Kellenberger, GROB and Chevalier. Live cutting demos will showcase automation, tooling, high pressure coolant systems, software, measurement systems and more from leading industry suppliers.
"We will display machining solutions for manufacturers of precision machined parts serving medical, aerospace, automotive, defense, agricultural and energy industries," said Corey Johnson, President of Morris Great Lakes. "Our application engineering staff will run live cutting demos on more than a dozen machines, including multifunction machines, 5-axis machines, vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, CNC lathes with robots and Swiss-type lathes. Our new facility is ideal for an event of this scale."
Morris Great Lakes is the exclusive distributor of Okuma, Tsugami, Hardinge Group and Chevalier machine tools in western Pennsylvania, western New York, and the state of West Virginia.
