INDEX Corporation will open its doors Tuesday, April 8th, from 10 AM to 8:30 PM and Wednesday, April 9th, thru Friday, April 11th, from 10 AM to 5 PM to mark the 100th anniversary of INDEX-Werke, its parent company in Esslingen, Germany, and the subsidiary TRAUB's 75th anniversary. Food and beverages will be available throughout the day.
The event is open to all members of the manufacturing and precision parts community and will occur the week of the Precision Machined Parts Association Technical Conference in Indianapolis.
The company will be demonstrating 12 sophisticated precision turning machines, including automatic CNC lathes, Swiss turning machines, multitasking mill-turns and multispindle CNC lathes, and will demonstrate virtual machining, part programming and process simulation. According to a spokesperson, INDEX is the originator of and leader in CNC multispindle machine tools with more than 2,000 operating globally today.
