AFAB Acquires Cyclone
April 1, 2014
AFAB, a manufacturer of precision machined parts and assemblies, has acquired the new Ganesh Cyclone 52TTMY with multi-axis dual-spindle and dual-turret. This CNC turn mill provides for simultaneous machining, true linear with full Y-axis and is suited for complicated parts, according to the company.
"This extraordinary piece of machinery will increase our through-put, cutting cycle times in half. The result is higher quality parts, faster turnaround and increased capacity," said Larry Campbell, President of AFAB. "This is another step in our plan to expand our capabilities and improve efficiencies using new technologies - allowing us to serve our customers better, faster and more cost efficiently."
AFAB's continued commitment to technology provides for unattended manufacturing processes throughout the shop floor, allowing for 24/7 operations. These improvements have been brought about through an ongoing focus on process flow and a commitment to quality, customer support and dedication to on-time delivery.
AFAB provides quality, custom precision machined parts and assemblies for a variety of application and industries. AFAB specializes in precision CNC turning and milling of plastic, aluminum and stainless steel materials.
