Ganesh Machinery Adds Experienced Team Members

Rick Golner

Bob Granquist

Ben Scharf

Ganesh Machinery, a provider of CNC Swiss and multi-axis CNC lathes and milling machines, has added new team members to fill key positions.

Rick Golner has joined the sales team as a Regional Technical Sales Manager, and will be serving customers and supporting dealers in Wisconsin and Illinois from his Milwaukee area office. Golner grew up working in his parent's shop since he was 14, running Brown & Sharpe and Acme multi-spindles and learning the ropes from journeymen machinists and tool & die makers. He graduated into CNC lathes and milling machines and then advanced into CNC Swiss machines over his 25 years working in job shops. Golner then went on to help other shops in setting up their Swiss and multi-axis lathe departments. He then invested 10 years with machine tool builders like Swistek and Tornos doing customer CNC Swiss machine training, service and applications support, and machine sales.

Bob Granquist has joined the sales team, and will be serving customers and supporting dealers in Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Nebraska and western Wisconsin as the Regional Manager from his Minneapolis office. Granquist is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and has a degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Bob spent 23 years working his way up in the Milton Granquist Company, and then 8 years as a Territory Sales Manager for Machine Tool Supply in Minneapolis, where he specialized in machine tool sales in demanding metalworking applications.

Ben Scharf has joined the sales team, and will be serving customers and supporting dealers in New England, New York, New Jersey and Maryland from his office in Danbury, CT, as the Regional Technical Sales Manager. Scharf worked his way through college programming and setting up CNC machines in a fast-paced job shop environment. Since those early years he worked for several machine tool builders, including Tornos CNC Swiss machines, in CNC machine service and applications engineering positions helping customers get the most out of their machines.

All three new customer support personnel are well versed in showing customers strategies on how to achieve profitable production by taking the machining cell concept to the next level.

Robert Serrano, President of Ganesh Machinery added, "The broad and lengthy machine tool background that all three of these gentlemen have will be highly beneficial to the continued success of our customers."

Harvinder Singh, CEO of Ganesh Machinery stated, "Their years of Swiss experience will be especially helpful to our customers because the Swiss machine market will be well served through applications of the Ganesh 20 mm, 32 mm and 42 mm 8-axis Swiss machines."
