Ellison Technologies Names Eike Huebner New CEO

Eike Huebner

Eike Huebner has been named CEO of Ellison Technologies. Huebner has been a senior member of Ellison's leadership team for years, serving as COO since 2021, working in close partnership with then-CEO Graham Hooper. Hooper, who led Ellison for 12 years, has transitioned to a part-time executive adviser role.

Huebner's connection to Ellison stretches back to 2010. He has worked across the full scope of the machine tool business: on the equipment manufacturer's side, in field sales, in sales leadership, and in regional management.

Huebner was key to developing the "Journey of The Part" strategy. This strategy has the customer front and center, with machine tools at its core, and with Ellison able to provide a comprehensive portfolio of solutions across the entire manufacturing value chain-from CNC hardware of all kinds, through robots, cobots, service, parts, financing, spindle rebuild, software, additive technologies, consulting, engineering services, and technical support.

"Huebner's priorities are grounded in the day-to-day realities customers are navigating: global competition, tighter timelines, resource and manpower constraints, evolving technologies, and the pressure to make the right decisions on all investments related to capital equipment," said a company spokesperson. "Ellison's role is to make those decisions easier and the outcomes better, partnering with customers in a way that allows them to grow their businesses. Our customers are always at the center of everything we do."
