Pemamek Joins Forces with Mach Machines

Pemamek and Mach Machines management (l-r): Petri Heino, Juha Mäkitalo, Jaakko Heikonen, Jandre TerreBlanche, and Ryan Lustig

Pemamek has acquired the business operations of Mach Machines, strengthening its local organization in North America and expanding its capabilities in robotic welding automation.

Mach Machines is a fast-growing robotics company specializing in robotic welding automation.

"Built on a culture of innovation, engineering curiosity, and customer-centric thinking, Mach has established itself as a trusted automation partner across North America," said a company spokesperson. "The company's strong relationship with Yaskawa and deep expertise in robotic welding solutions make it a natural fit for Pemamek's long-term vision of delivering industry-leading automation solutions to customers worldwide."

"The North American market is very active at the moment, and our customers are increasingly looking for broader automation capabilities and stronger local support," said Jaakko Heikonen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Pemamek Group. "With this acquisition, we are taking a significant step forward in strengthening our presence in the United States and creating a foundation for accelerated growth."

The combination further enhances Pemamek's ability to serve customers locally while leveraging the strength of a global automation organization.

"By combining Mach's local expertise and entrepreneurial spirit with Pemamek's global technology portfolio and decades of experience, we are creating greater value for our customers," said Juha Mäkitalo, CEO of Pemamek Group.

A key element of the acquisition is the addition of Mach's experienced and growing team. Their expertise, customer relationships, and hands-on approach to automation will play an important role in the continued development of Pemamek's North American operations.

"This is first and foremost about people," said Jandre TerreBlanche, CEO of Mach Machines. "We have built Mach around talented individuals, strong customer relationships, and a passion for solving manufacturing challenges. Joining forces with Pemamek gives us access to global resources, broader technologies, and new opportunities while maintaining the local responsiveness and customer focus that have defined our success."

As part of the transaction, the combined operation will relocate to a larger facility in Blue Ash, OH. The expanded site will serve as a regional center for service and support, sales and engineering operations, advanced robotics demonstrations, systems integration, and welding technology development.
