Industrial Air Filtration System

MIDACO Corporation will introduce the AFS2200 at IMTS 2026 booth 339347 in the South Hall.

Designed for manufacturing and CNC machining environments, the AFS2200 is an industrial air filtration and circulation system intended to help reduce airborne dust, smoke, coolant mist, and particulate accumulation commonly generated during machining, grinding, welding, fabrication, and material processing operations.

The AFS2200 features a 2,200 CFM airflow capacity and utilizes a 2-stage filtration system consisting of a MERV 8 pleated pre-filter and a MERV 15 secondary bag filter. The system is designed to capture airborne particulates commonly found in manufacturing environments, including particles ranging approximately from 3.0 to 10.0 microns.

Additional system features include:

  • 1/2 HP direct-drive blower motor
  • 115V single-phase electrical operation
  • Differential pressure monitoring
  • LED filter status indicators
  • Replaceable disposable filters
  • Heavy-duty 16-gauge steel cabinet construction
  • Made in the USA.

The system is available in mobile and overhead-mounted configurations. Standard units are mounted on four heavy-duty casters, including two locking casters for positioning stability. Optional ceiling mounting brackets are also available for permanent overhead installation in facilities where floor space optimization or elevated airflow positioning is preferred.

According to MIDACO specifications, the AFS2200 is capable of providing approximately:

  • 11 air changes per hour (ACH) in a 1,000 sq. ft. facility with 12' ceilings
  • 5.5 air changes per hour (ACH) in a 2,000 sq. ft. facility with 12' ceilings.

The system is intended for use in a range of manufacturing environments, including CNC machining facilities, fabrication shops, grinding operations, welding departments, and industrial production plants where airborne particulate management and indoor air quality are operational considerations.
