Bel Air Finishing has released two CNC deburring holders, the FM-DBR7-1D Series and FM-DBR7-SC Series, designed to automate, streamline, and elevate edge-finishing operations across modern manufacturing environments.
The FM-DBR7-1D Series deburring toolholder is purpose-built for automated top and bottom (tension and compression) deburring of machined holes in one continuous pass, eliminating tool changes and manual finishing. Its precision telescopic compression/tension mechanism absorbs workpiece dimensional variation, enabling consistent deburring volume and stable cutting performance even in high-mix, variable-batch operations, the company reported.
Designed specifically for front-side deburring and chamfering, the FM-DBR7-SC deburring holder leverages an adjustable spring-load mechanism that maintains consistent cutting pressure across parts with minor height or dimensional variation. Its telescopic design reduces chatter and over-cutting, offering smooth surface quality and repeatable results.
"Both holders are built for seamless integration into CNC machining centers, robotic systems, and other automated platforms, giving manufacturers an efficient way to improve part quality, reduce labor, and maintain stable deburring across variable production runs," noted a company spokesperson.
