Reader Precision Solutions Expands Precision Machining Capabilities

Reader Precision Solutions is launching a $3.63 million expansion of its Swiss and CNC precision machining platforms. This progressive capital investment responds to rising demand across several key sectors, equipping the company to support scalable, high-volume production for mission-critical industries while positioning Reader Precision to grow alongside its strategic partners.

Mike P. Reader, President of Reader Precision Solutions, said: "Continuous investments in our people and technology are critical to remaining competitive. By expanding our machining platforms, we improve throughput, increase flexibility to process legacy parts, and support growing client programs with greater efficiency."

This equipment expansion builds upon the momentum of Reader Precision's recent relocation to its Elkhorn, WI, headquarters, a facility retrofitted to accommodate greater capacity, advanced technology, and long-term scalability. The current multiphase equipment rollout is driving that vision forward, standardizing production floor performance while also playing a critical role in the company's workforce development.

"Investing in high-tech equipment goes hand-in-hand with our vision of investing in people, processes, and technology," said Amanda Griffoul, VP of Human Resources. "When you pair advanced technology with a clean, modern facility, it naturally attracts great talent, whether that is the next generation entering manufacturing or experienced professionals looking to grow their careers. As we continue to grow our equipment and capabilities, we are equally focused on bringing in the right people to support the future."

Recently integrated and arriving summer 2026:

  • Two Miyano BNX-51MSY2 I Swiss CNC machines
  • Four Tsugami S206 Type II I Swiss CNC machines
  • Two Tsugami B0205-VR Type V I Swiss CNC machines
  • Six Ventura SoftCam I Escomatic CNC machines (3 V2, 3 V4).

"By standardizing around these proven machine platforms, Reader Precision minimizes set-up times, streamlines operator training, and mitigates downtime," said a company spokesperson. "This helps ensure highly competitive, redundant production capabilities for its clients."
