MODIG Mill-Ex2

IBARMIA THR 16P Multiprocess

LiCON: LiFLEX 776 i3 PC
The group comprising MODIG, IBARMIA, and LiCON will present a comprehensive machining portfolio for the North American market. Visitors will experience solutions ranging from highly flexible machining concepts to high-performance, high-volume production systems, demonstrating solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
At the center of the joint presentation are live machining solutions, each engineered to address key manufacturing challenges while demonstrating measurable productivity improvements in real manufacturing environments.
The MODIG Mill-Ex2 is a dual-spindle, high-speed machining center developed for aluminum components in aerospace and automotive applications. Featuring independently driven spindles and axes, the system enables continuous machining with enhanced dynamics, control, and flexibility. Designed to reduce cycle times, footprint, and cost per part, Mill-Ex2 offers stable performance, optimized throughput, and efficient material removal while maintaining the accuracy required for complex aluminum structures, the company reported.
The IBARMIA T SERIES Multiprocess 5-axis multitasking machining centers were developed for medium and large complex, high-value components. By combining milling, turning, drilling, and other advanced processes in a single set-up, the T SERIES Multiprocess reduces part handling, machine transfers, and nonproductive time.
"Its flexible machine architecture combines powerful spindles, high-capacity rotary tables, and a choice of A- or B-axis tilting heads, providing broad machining access and the power, precision and stability required for demanding applications," said a company spokesperson. "The result is a configurable multiprocess platform that enables manufacturers to complete a wider range of operations with fewer machines."
LiCON LiFLEX II 776 i3 PC is a twin-spindle machining center with pallet changer designed for high-volume production environments where precision, repeatability, and productivity are critical. At the heart of the machine is LiCON's i3 technology, enabling independent compensation of both spindles across all three axes. Integrated sensors and intelligent algorithms actively compensate for thermal influences, enabling greater machining quality, high positioning accuracy, and stable production performance. The result is continuous, efficient manufacturing with consistent quality and maximum output, noted the company. At IMTS, the machine will perform live machining demonstrations highlighting simultaneous machining and advanced multi-axis capabilities.
A key element of the IMTS presentation is the collaboration with Seco Tools. By bringing together expertise in machine tools, cutting tools, and manufacturing processes, the partnership showcases a comprehensive approach to improving productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness.
