ANCA's IMTS demonstration brings together the MX7 ULTRA CNC tool grinder, ZOLLER genius measuring technology, and AIMS Connect software in a single digital workflow. The process begins with precise tool measurement to determine the optimal material removal required. Data is then transferred into the grinding process, where the MX7 ULTRA delivers the accuracy, surface finish, and stability required for high-performance reground tools. After grinding, inspection data can be compared against target geometry, supporting quality assurance, traceability, and continuous process improvement.
AIMS Connect provides the digital link between grinding, measurement, and production data, reducing manual intervention and giving manufacturers greater visibility across the regrinding operation. This connected approach supports a move toward closed-loop tool lifecycle management, where each tool can be tracked, measured, reground, and documented with greater confidence.
