Flex Machine Tools will showcase its advanced FlexJet FLX-1365 Waterjet System with IGEMS technology, along with a range of ergonomic tapping arm solutions, at IMTS booth 135200 in the Fabricating & Lasers Sector, East Building.
Visitors to the Flex Machine Tools booth will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations and speak with product specialists about their waterjet, CNC machining center, and tapping arm applications.
Waterjet
A major highlight in the booth will be the FlexJet FLX-1365 Waterjet System equipped with the advanced IGEMS Tilter 5-axis cutting head, designed to deliver enhanced precision, versatility, and efficiency for complex cutting applications. Powered by IGEMS CNC Control, CAD/CAM software, and integrated hardware solutions, the system offers advanced cutting capabilities for a wide range of materials and applications.
The FlexJet FLX-1365 with IGEMS technology provides manufacturers with enhanced productivity and cutting accuracy through intelligent motion control, optimized programming, and advanced compensation technologies. Featured capabilities include the IGEMS Tilter cutting head for complex bevel and 3D cutting applications, Snapper camera positioning technology for improved set-up precision, rounder kinematic compensation, and straighter perpendicular angle correction for greater edge quality and dimensional accuracy.
The machine is also equipped with an advanced HMI interface and Beckhoff industrial PC hardware, offering intuitive machine operation, robust performance, and enhanced operational control.
"Together, these technologies provide users with a highly capable waterjet cutting solution designed to improve throughput, reduce set-up times, and maximize productivity," said a company spokesperson.
Tapping Arms
In addition to the waterjet system, Flex Machine Tools will demonstrate several of its ergonomic arm solutions designed to improve productivity, precision, and operator comfort in fabrication and assembly environments.
Among the highlights will be the GH-45 Hydraulic Tapping Arm, engineered for large tapping applications requiring high torque and exceptional control. It is designed to reduce operator fatigue while improving consistency and thread quality.
Flex will also showcase the REM-24D Electric Tapping Arm, a versatile solution that allows users to quickly switch between vertical and horizontal tapping positions. Designed for producing accurate tapped holes while minimizing the risk of tap breakage, the REM-24D combines ergonomic operation with increased flexibility for a wide range of tapping applications.
Also on display will be the MAG-35-H Mag Drill Arm, an ergonomic solution that simplifies magnetic drilling operations while improving safety and reducing operator strain. The system offsets the weight of the magnetic drill, allowing operators to position and maneuver the tool with greater ease, accuracy, and control.
Rounding out the ergonomic solutions on display will be the LR-40 Light Duty Torque Reaction Arm with 90º Pneumatic Ratchet. Designed to absorb torque reaction during fastening operations, the LR-40 helps improve operator comfort and safety while delivering greater process consistency and reducing fatigue associated with repetitive assembly tasks.
