Servo-Conventional Technology

KNUTH Machine Tools USA has added more servo-conventional based equipment to its extensive portfolio and will display the latest technology at EASTEC 2023.

"The Servoturn 410 NC makes a significant leap up from a conventional lathe with an impressive list of functions that makes it a few steps away from a CNC machine, with great value for money," said a company spokesperson.

Starting with a solid one-piece base, wide hardened and ground guideways, ballscrews and massive headstock, this 16" x 40" lathe weighs almost 4,000 lbs. The Delta servo-conventional CNC control allows for programmable taper turning, programmable radius turning, straight and taper threading with automatic feed engagement. A large touchscreen with digital readout for axis position, tool station programming for tool offsets, multilingual display, programmable feedrates and rapid speed limits help ensure user-friendly and simple operation.

Also on display will be the full programmable ABS 320 PLC automatic bandsaw with the newest generation of the SSB drill press with a touchscreen control.
