Quick-Grip Collet Fixtures for 4th and 5th Axis Applications

The Royal Power-Block brings the full functionality of its Quick-Grip CNC collet chucks to vertical and horizontal machining centers. When paired with a custom-profile Royal Quick-Grip collet, the Royal Power-Block enables users to optimize workholding for parts that are not well-suited to traditional vises or prismatic fixtures.
Features and benefits include:
- Alternative to traditional vises and fixtures, especially for long, thin parts, as well as workpieces with asymmetrical features that are difficult to otherwise accurately hold.
- Parallel-grip collets with a full 0.062" clamping range provide enhanced grip force and rigidity.
- Ten-second collet changes combined with rapid open/close help ensure maximum part throughput.
- Side and bottom hydraulic ports offer plumbing flexibility. Fixtures can also be actuated pneumatically for lighter-duty applications.
- Multiple units may be plumbed in series for single-source actuation.
- Bottom mounting surface is precision-ground for perpendicularity to centerline. Each fixture also includes ground O.D. and I.D. registers for precision plate and tombstone mounting.
- Ideal for high-volume vertical and horizontal machining center applications.
