Precision Toolroom Lathe with Servo Threading System

Babin Machine Tool has announced the availability of its new precision 5C style toolroom lathe, TML-5Cem, with English/Metric gearbox and now with standard 5 HP spindle motor.
"Designed for the modeling and prototype shop environments, features of the TML-5Cem lathe are the proven Hardinge style wide dovetail bedplate design, direct drive 5 HP spindle to 3,500 RPM, 5C lever collet closer and high precision .0001" toolroom accuracy," said a company spokesperson.
Manual threading is accomplished via the dual range gearbox and the included thread pitch settings.
Options include: Acu-Rite or Newall DRO system, chucks, collets, toolpost with tooling, coolant and chip guards and more. All lathes are shipped from the Babin Machine Tool facility and each TML-5C lathe is fully qualified for accuracy, fit and finish before delivery to the customer.

Other available toolroom lathe models are the TML-5Cst with servo threading computer and touchscreen data input and model TML-5Cnc with full manual and CNC capabilities, featuring USA-made Centroid T400 conversational CNC control.
