Grinding Solution with Production Efficiency
January 1, 2020
Founded in 1998 in Taichung, Taiwan, Palmary launched its first customized grinding solution with a centerless grinder. Nearly every year after that for a decade, the company introduced new and innovative grinding solutions that focused on providing customers with production efficiency.
Today, Palmary offers customers in more than 40 countries high precision, high quality centerless, cylindrical, I.D., O.D., vertical and universal grinders that are automation and gauge ready. They have been available to U.S. customers since 2007 and are exclusively represented in North America by Indiana-based Heartland Machine & Engineering.
What makes Palmary grinders different from European and Japanese grinders? "Customers say it is the quality for the price point. With accuracy and machine specifications every bit as good as competing grinders, Palmary offers a 35-40% cost savings and normal delivery from inventory to six months," said a company spokesperson.
"One of its most unique machines is the OCD-3265M3 CNC universal cylindrical grinder for medium size workpieces," said the spokesperson. This machine has an I.D., angle head and plunge head in the same machine. The wheelhead has integrated B-axis that swivels automatically and enables the use of up to three grinding wheels, offering a workpiece that can be completely machined in the same clamping with minimal auxiliary times.
