Metrology Provider Now Certified in FFL and ITAR

Exact Metrology has received two new certifications: the Federal Firearms License (FFL) and International Traffic in Arms Registration (ITAR). Both the FFL and ITAR certifications are required by the federal government for any manufacturer or dealer to deal with firearms.
These certifications allow customers to now send Exact Metrology handguns and other types of firearms to be 3-D scanned and reverse engineered. Exact uses a high-quality, high-resolution blue light 3-D scanner engineered to pick up a high level of detail and accuracy. The scans are typically used for aftermarket accessories, such as holsters, sites, grips and other products that can be added on when the equipment data is not available.
