DMG MORI Chicago Innovation Days May 7-10

DMG MORI will host its Chicago Innovation Days May 7-10, 2018, at its headquarters in Hoffman Estates, IL. Event hours are 9 AM to 5 PM daily.

The event will include the world premiere of the NHX 4000 3rd generation. Features include:

• Zero to full rapid in 0.1 seconds at 1.2g of acceleration
• 20,000 RPM speedMASTER spindle with 50 HP
• New smartSCALE (4.5 micron positioning accuracy).

  Making its U.S. premiere will be the DMU 50 3rd generation. Features include:

• 5-axis machining with speedMASTER spindle up to 20,000 RPM or up to 62 HP and 148 ft-lbs.
• Increased precision by active cooling and direct coupled ball screws (< 5 micron positioning accuracy).

Additional featured machining centers include the NHX 5500 2nd generation (world premiere), NHX 6300 2nd generation (U.S. premiere) and the CMX 1100 V with APC.
