Software Features Split Window Capability

SigmaTEK Systems, LLC, developer of CAD/CAM nesting, material optimization and manufacturing process automation, has announced the latest release of the SigmaNEST software program. SigmaNEST Version 10.2 contains new features and enhancements designed to make cutting machine programming more effective and easy.
According to the company, Version 10.2 features a split window to divide workspace into multiple windows allowing different areas of the workspace to be viewed simultaneously. The workspace is split into evenly sized windows based on the type of grid selected when splitting the window. Users may also manually nest parts across the split windows and onto other sheets. This is designed to provide quick nesting of parts onto multiple sheets without having to select the layout from the list.
Additional enhancements to SigmaNEST Version 10.2 include:
- Laser destruct
- Center of gravity tabbing
- Conditional tabbing for drop doors
- Special lead-ins with manual tabs
- Quick search in parts, sheets and work order list
- Horizontal line cropping
- Punching enhancements
