Vektek now offers short stroke cartridge cylinders that are specifically designed for use with wedge driven clamping elements such as Mitee-Bite Uniforce, ID Expansion and OK-Vise.
"Six capacities of slip-in cartridges are available to easily replace competitors' faultering cartridges," said a company spokesperson. "We can cross reference any competitors' cylinder for a perfect fit replacement.
"Designing a new wedge fixture? Use Vektek's new easy to install and remove threaded push/pull cartridge. Hydraulic power is used to clamp and unclamp. Force range is adjustable to cylinder capacity by adjusting the input pressure. Users can easily convert to single acting by installing an extend spring (sold separately)."
