New Customer Portal Features Mobile-Optimized Platform

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. (TKMNA) has launched its new customer portal, allowing customers of its copper and brass sales division access to real-time, account-specific information and account functions, like ordering material and checking their owned inventory. The portal is also mobile-optimized, providing customers instant access to their account at any time, on any platform or device, including smartphones and tablets.

"As consumers have become more mobile-oriented in the past years, we recognize the need for them to access their account information anytime, anywhere they are," said Joachim Limberg, Chief Executive Officer of Material Services, ThyssenKrupp AG. "The ThyssenKrupp Materials NA Customer Portal is a much-needed tool to increase and expand the ease of access customers have to the documents and business functions they need."

According to the company, the customer portal is also part of a larger, global project that will bring other ThyssenKrupp Materials international businesses into the same portal, offering a global network for customers. Currently, the TKMNA customer portal is available for copper and brass sales unit customers, while other TKMNA customers will have the ability to manage their accounts in the near future.

Currently, the ThyssenKrupp Materials NA customer portal functions include shipment tracking and options to perform a variety of reporting tasks for quotes, delivery notices, invoices, materials safety data sheets, mill test reports and order history. Additionally, customers can release orders from contracts and view their customer-specific inventory.

Current copper and brass sales customers can register for access to their account on the ThyssenKrupp Materials NA customer portal at http://b2b.tkmna.com.
