Exact Pipe Tools, Inc., the U.S.-owned subsidiary of Finland-based Exact Tools Oy, now offers two new products: a pipe-cutting tool and portable pipe stand.
Cutting Tool
PipeCut 170E is a lightweight tool designed for steel and plastic pipe. "Built for the professional industrial pipe fitter, PipeCut 170E is a fast, easy, safe and precise way to cut steel, stainless steel, cast iron and plastic pipe," said a company spokesperson. The cutting tool features adjustable speed and steady torque.
PipeCut 170E weighs 12 lbs. and is capable of cleanly cutting pipes with outside diameters from 0.6" to 6.7" with steel wall thickness of 0.31" or plastic wall thickness of 0.55".

Pipe Stand
The new lightweight and portable PipeBench 170 provides support for pipe during cutting. "The PipeBench 170 can be carried to where pipes need to be cut," said the spokesperson. "It is designed for renovation sites and a variety of other applications."
Equipped with a chain vise, the stand can hold the pipe firmly when creating a thread or welding. The PipeBench 170 has a versatile worktable, a chip tray to catch sawing or threading chips and a shoulder bag for easy carrying.
The PipeBench 170 weighs 22.5 lbs. and can be used on 0.6- to 6.7-" diameter pipes, and it has a maximum load capacity of 441 lbs.
