Koma Precision, Inc. and Hexagon Metrology Product Line Form Alliance

Koma Precision, Inc. has announced its strategic alliance with the Hexagon Metrology M&H product line for the North American market. "Koma Precision will be the master importer and system integrator for M&H products offering touch probes, tool setters and laser tool measuring systems for CNC machines," said a company spokesperson. "This partnership represents a continuation of Koma's efforts to offer the highest quality and innovative products to our customers."

According to the spokesperson, the new product line offers a state-of-the-art measuring solution with probes and tool measuring system software that enables manufacturers to control quality of the part on the machine. "M&H probing systems ensure manufacturing plants achieve precision at the workpiece," said the spokesperson. "The new generation of M&H probes has proven to excel in harsh machining environments with extreme spindle acceleration, constant vibrations and temperature fluctuations providing precise consistent measurements."

Koma Precision, Inc. qualified application engineers will assist customers in selecting measuring solutions. Installation services by qualified technicians for the probe systems and measuring software can also be provided.
