Oil mist adversely impacts employee health and shop equipment, as well as being harmful to the environment. To cope with this hazard, Tecnara Tooling Systems is introducing the Aoi MistCapture, a filterless oil-mist solution that provides 98% efficiency in eliminating 3-micron particles. Aoi Seiko MistCapture units will be on display and representatives will available to answer questions about the filterless system in the booth.
The Aoi MistCapture is available in four models designed for a wide range of air volumes, velocities and applications. Compact and easy to mount, it can be fine-tuned for every setting where oil mist is a problem.
"Aoi is a manufacturer of advanced impeller systems offering performance and reliability. The powerful impeller uses centrifugal force to separate out particulates and is sound-attenuated for very quiet operation. Its advanced design mitigates noise and vibration. Only purified air is emitted from the exhaust port," said a company spokesperson.
The Aoi MistCapture is designed for easy maintenance. Regular maintenance is performed without removing the duct hose from the intake port. To facilitate servicing, the compact MistCapture is designed for floor or low-stand installation. A dedicated stand is available. The air intake may be located as far as 25 feet from the filtration system. Operating air temperature range is up to 60°C (140°F) at the intake plate.
With lightweight construction and compact design, the Aoi MistCapture is ideal for a variety of applications, including machining centers, lathes and multi-task machines.
