Machine Tool Technology & Sales (MTTS) has released its new ESPRIT Interactive Training Add-in, a self-paced, computer-based tutorial add-in system created for anyone who uses ESPRIT CAM software. Because it is a software add-in which runs within - and interacts with - ESPRIT software, it displays live animations, tool tips, video clips and visual cues right on the ESPRIT screen to make learning faster and easier.
"Managers will appreciate the flexibility it affords them in getting new employees up to speed quickly and with no scheduling conflicts," said a company spokesperson. "Current ESPRIT programmers can fit in update training as time becomes available and see how to use new features in the ESPRIT system immediately.
"People cannot always find days, or even hours, for training. They are more likely to have just a few minutes at different times throughout their day. So, we designed lessons that take only 10 to 20 minutes to complete. Lessons are easy to review and repeat and people can come back and pick up where they left off.

Because the Interactive Add-In and ESPRIT both fit on one screen, everything is always visible. A detailed index and comprehensive glossary makes finding particular items easier so lessons can be quickly located for review.
