Sodick to Host Smart Technology Event

Sodick, Inc. will be hosting a Smart Technology Event October 3rd and 4th at its corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. Sodick will reveal a new range of rigid linear motor driven machines. "The unique SL Series Wire EDM models set new standards for machining accuracy and feature an array of new features that support improved productivity," said a company spokesperson.

"In addition, and presented for the first time, the new TT1-400A High Speed Electrode Machining Center provides an efficient precise solution to electrode manufacturing."

Guests will have the opportunity to see Sodick's product offerings - and view live machining demonstrations utilizing rigid linear motor driven EDM machines and high speed, high accuracy milling centers. Facility tours will show the company's capabilities and educational workshops by industry partners for advanced programming software and precision tooling will be available. Seminars by Sodick Engineers will be offered for visitors to learn about the new technologies in the SL Wire EDM Machines and the TT1-400A High Speed Electrode Machining Center.

"We want our visitors to walk away and feel that they have learned something new - that they are now better informed on the innovative technologies and processes available to them," said Marketing Manager, Isabel Florence. "Additionally, our Smart Technology Event will offer our visitors the opportunity to educate themselves about our new machines, from our engineers, and what makes these machines superior."

The Smart Technology Event will be from 9 AM - 5 PM on October 3rd, and from 9 AM - 12 PM on October 4th. Go to www.sodick.com/openhouse for full event agenda and to register.
