The Fixtureworks booth at WESTEC will feature the new urethane covered bearing rollers among the many workholding components and rollers and bumpers all with the economics and quick availability of standard, off-the-shelf parts and hardware-all from a single-source.
Fixtureworks, a manufacturer and supplier of workholding technologies, material handling and machine tool components and fixturing accessories will showcase its extensive clamping, gripping, locating, positioning, roller, bumper and support products during WESTEC 2013.
The exhibit will feature the new urethane covered bearing rollers. Available in stock, ready to ship with no lead time, no minimum order and no tooling required, they are available in both inch and metric sizes. This is counter to traditional availability of these types bearing rollers, many of which require lead time, minimum orders and tooling. They have a smooth urethane surface that is cast directly on a precision sealed ball bearing. Not only are they smooth and provide for quiet and non-marring operation, they also provide excellent abrasion resistance and durability.
The inch and metric sizes are offered in two styles, single bearing and double bearing. The single bearing style is available in diameter sizes from 0.750 to 3 in. and from 20 to 70 mm. Widths range from 0.196 to 0.563 in. and 5 to 12 mm.
The double bearing style is available in diameters from 0.750 to 3.00 in. and 20 to 70 mm, with widths from 0.392 to 1.125 in and 10 to 24 mm. Durometers are available from 35 to 95 in both inch and metric sizes.
