On June 28th, T-Top Manufacturing held a plant tour for the North Texas Chapter of The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Attendees saw all facets of T-Top's manufacturing capabilities, including large capacity pipe bending, waterjet cut products, CNC turret punch, plasma/punch machines, programmable large capacity sawing, multiple shears and press brakes. Included was the largest electric press brake in the U.S., according to T-Top.
"Welding fixures were also seen, as well as T-Top's assembly area, which produces a vast array of cabinets, tool boxes, panels and enclosures," said a company spokesperson. Production capabilities include multiple material grades and alloys. T-Top works primarily with aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel, as well as waterjet cutting plastics and more. Welding capabilities include MIG and TIG.
T-Top serves industries such as transportation, oilfield, air conditioning manufacturers and more. The company provides formed sheet metal, cut plate, bent piping and welding and assembly.
