Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show October 8-10

New machines and exhibitors, skills gap programs and AmCon Design & Contract Manufacturing Show co-locating with the Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show (WMTS) are just a few of the many features at Wisconsin's largest manufacturing event. The three-day show will be held Tuesday, October 8 thru Thursday, October 10 at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, WI.

"See more than 80,000 square feet of the latest technology to keep your manufacturing lean, productive and profitable," said a company spokesperson. "Speak with leading industry experts about the newest developments in manufacturing, metalworking and machining, with more in-booth machine demos and large machines than ever on the floor."

Keynote speakers, like Dan Ariens, Lloyd Graff and Karin Lindner, will discuss topics relevant to today's manufacturing issues and success, including what manufacturers can do to raise awareness of opportunities in manufacturing, the emphasis on the skills gap with new programs in the labor initiative, the benefits of lean leadership, the positives of multi-tasking machinery and more.

Associations, groups and schools are holding meetings and seminars at this show for the first time. If you wish to hold a meeting at this year's show, please contact carrie@epishows.com.

Special events for high school and tech students from MATC, GPS Education Partners, Champion Now and others are planned for all day on Thursday, October 10. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker will begin the day with an address to attendees.

AmCon Design & Contract Manufacturing Show is co-locating with the show, so attendees can discover solutions for difficult design and production problems while meeting with US job shops and contract manufacturers.

The Innovative Theatre returns in 2013 to provide attendees the opportunity to view latest developments important to the industry. Tuesday and Wednesday will feature 11 free presentations from WMTS exhibitors with Q&A sessions to follow.

Free online registration (save $15) is available now thru October 4. To register and find out more about this year's show, visit WIMTS.com.
