Heavy CNC Flat Bed Lathe for Extra Large Workpieces

L&L Machinery (Taiwan) has developed the LL Series Ultra rigid CNC flat bed lathe featuring five hardened and ground box ways and capable of handling maximum 11 ton workpieces. The design offers a large work envelope with maximum 37.4" cutting diameter and 394" between centers plus 16" spindle bore. The LL Series is designed for extra long and extra large workpieces that require heavy turning, threading and boring requirements.
The LL Series is equipped with 50 HP spindle motor with 4-step automatic transmission to provide enhanced power and torque. The 12 station heavy duty turret and oversized tailstock provides the same versatility as the slant bed turning center, according to the company. The LL Series also offers a boring attachment mounted on sub carriage. The LL Series can be used for applications in aerospace, utilities, oil and gas, marine and heavy equipment industries.
