New Mini Chucks with Low Profile

"At 1/3 smaller than Hainbuch's standard collet chucks the new mini series of collet chucks help save both time and material. The small profile of the mini allows you to work as close as possible to the chuck and utilize the shortest possible tools increasing rigidity in both workholding and tooling," said a company spokesperson. "Increased rigidity and shorter tools equals higher cutting efficiencies and better surface finish. At 38% less weight than a standard chuck, it allows operators to get up to speed and back to zero more quickly saving you energy and cycle time while it's shorter length increases the machine's working envelope."

Based on the Hainbuch collets as standard chucks, the TOPlus and SPANNTOP mini series provides the same 15-second quick change with .003 mm repeatability. The mini is available in both pull back and dead length and is internal end stop capable.
