Powerhold now offers a wide selection of gripper products for applications such as gantry and robotic part loading, packaging equipment and light duty secondary machining operations.
Powerhold is the exclusive agent in North America for Grip brand products manufactured in Castelleone, Italy. This product offers a large range of standard grippers as small as 1" and as large as 15". Different series offer different force ratings for handling lighter or heavier parts. Most models are air actuated, and hydraulic and spring actuated units are also offered as standard options. Anodized aluminum bodies with hardened steel internal components are intended to provide a lightweight but wear resistant design.
Standard models come in 2- or 3-jaw configurations, suitable for internal or external part gripping. Special purpose models include angular and parallel finger grippers and O-ring packing grippers. Grip can customize a design to meet application needs and Powerhold can assist with custom contact jaws for specific part requirements.
