Gleason Corporation Appoints Bijal Thakkar President/COO

Gleason Corporation has appointed Bijal Thakkar as President and COO.
John J. Perrotti, Gleason Chairman and CEO, stated, "Bijal brings deep experience, strong energy, and a proven track record of leadership working for different multinational manufacturing companies. I am confident she will play an important role in advancing Gleason's global leadership in gear technology and other key markets."

Thakkar has more than 20 years of experience in senior strategic and business development positions across a broad range of manufacturing organizations. Most recently, she served as vice president and general manager of a major division at TE Connectivity. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Trane Technologies, Johnson Controls, Siemens, and General Electric.
