To strengthen its presence in the U.S. market, Voortman, manufacturer of steel processing machines, invested more than $50M in a new production facility in Monee, IL. The first American-built machine was recently delivered to Phoenix, AZ. This underscores the company,Äôs dedication to serving the North American market with localized manufacturing and service, and at the same time, creating over 100 jobs.
With growing demand for advanced steel processing solutions in North America, the investment of Voortman in local manufacturing reflects a focus on customer value. U.S.-based production shortens lead times, improves responsiveness and service, and strengthens collaboration with customers while maintaining trusted quality and greater supply chain control.

The 27-acre site houses a modern 20,000-sq.-ft. office and 80,000-sq.-ft. production facility. Activities like machine assembly, a training facility, and additional parts and consumable storage are brought in-house in Monee. The new facility also features an experience center for visitors.
