FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving will present its latest laser marking solutions at IMTS. At this year,Äôs event, FOBA will highlight its application expertise through a range of laser systems and materials-focused demonstrations designed to address the growing complexity of industrial part marking.

"Across industries such as medical technology, automotive, and electronics, manufacturers face increasing demands for reliable, high-quality, and material-specific marking processes," said a company spokesperson. "FOBA,Äôs presence at IMTS 2026 is centered on demonstrating how laser-based marking solutions can be adapted to a wide variety of materials while ensuring process stability and consistent results. FOBA supports customers in selecting and implementing suitable marking technologies for challenging materials and advanced production environments."

Visitors to the FOBA booth will be able to explore three key set-ups that reflect different marking approaches and application requirements:

,Ä¢ New fiber laser system Y.0602: FOBA will introduce its latest fiber laser innovation, further expanding its portfolio for efficient and flexible marking of metals and plastics in industrial production. Due to the focus range up to 99 mm, the system enables multi-level marking without repositioning,Äîsuited for complex part geometries and varying heights.

,Ä¢ UV laser integrated in a M1000 workstation: FOBA,Äôs ultraviolet marking laser generates minimal heat impact and is designed for high contrast on sensitive materials, such as silicones, multicolored polyamides, cables made of TPE, as well as transparent or colored hoses made of PVC.

,Ä¢ Ultrashort pulse laser in a M3000 workstation: The combination of a high pulse energy with very short pulses is the key to deepest black, permanent, gentle markings that are nonreflective regardless of the angle and incidence of light.

These systems illustrate how different laser sources can be applied depending on material properties, marking requirements, and production contexts.

Industrial laser marking plays a key role in enabling traceability, quality assurance, and compliance across modern manufacturing processes. By combining laser technology with integrated vision systems and process control tools, FOBA helps manufacturers achieve reproducible results even in high-volume production environments.

FOBA invites attendees to engage with its experts on-site to explore application-driven marking solutions and discuss specific material and process requirements. Interested parties can arrange an individual consultation appointment and receive a show ticket by contacting info@fobalaser.com.
